CD Review:
This is Meat Loaf's claim to fame and the only album worth purchasing by the artist. Bat out of Hell is a romp through those adolescence years we all remember. From trying to go all the way in the backseat of a car to the simple heartache of breaking up, it's teenage emotion at its best. The music is amazing with piano by Roy Bitton, drums by Max Weinberg of E Street Band fame and guitar by Tom Rundgren (who also produced) With talent of that caliber it is no wonder that this album is one of the best in history.

CD Review:
This is basically the band's first two albums. As it is difficult to find either, this re-release is a good one by the record company. Plus you get two albums on one CD which is like getting a two for one deal. You got to like that. If you want to try Big Star out, this is not a bad place to start. Then if you like them, you can pick up their final album (Third/Sister Lover) to complete the discography.
