Snakes on a Plane (2006) --> Samuel L. Jackson stars in this Davis Ellis film about an FBI agent who must protect his witness against a plane full of deadly snakes. If you went into this film to see some serious cheese then you would have been disappointed. Although the film is not a run away hit, it holds its own for excitement and thrills.

The Benchwarmers (2006) --> Rob Schneider, David Spade and Jon Heder star in this comedy about friends who start a three man baseball team to compete against little league baseballers in an attempt to show how bullying is wrong. The film is funny at times but overall only Heder stands out as a Napoleon Dynamite clone.

The Girl Next Door (2004) --> Canadian Elisha Cuthbert became every young strapping man's lust fantasy with this movie. Starring as an ex porn star who moves in next door to a promising high school senior (played by Emile Hirsch) who has his eyes on an Ivy League education and a successful life. Cuthbert takes him on the ride of his life (pun unintended) and they fall in love, how sweet! You could easily see the similarities between The Girl Next Door and the '80s teen movie Risky Business starring a young Tom Cruise but it doesn't copy the film to such an extent that you can call it a rip-off of the film.

Barnyard (2006) --> This animated feature film is about a young adult cow having difficulty filling his father's shoes. Surprising enough a cow (Ben as voiced by Sam Eliot) is given the responsibility of protecting and running the farm when the farmer is off the property. When he dies it is up to his son Otis, an immature thrill seeker, to take over his duties as protector. Although shirking his responsibilities initially, Otis breaks through his hang ups to save the farm from a pack of voracious blood thirsty wolves. Overall the story lacks originality and the obstacle of believing a cow could be anything heroic (as the real life cow is a stupid animal that is slaughtered) is too difficult to overcome.
