The Fog of War (2003) --> This documentary brought to you by the great American film maker Errol Morris ( A Brief History of Time (1991), Fast, Cheap & Out of Control (1997), and Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr. (1999)) is a study into the public life of Robert S. McNamara, the Secretary of Defence during the Cuban Missle Crisis and the first part of the Vietnam War. It is basically McNamara interviewed by Morris with Morris adding background through film and television footage. What makes the film good is that you get an idea of what was going on in the White House and Pentagon during two of the U.S.'s most important historical moments in the 20th century.
