Video Game of the Year
Halo 3
The craze which was Halo 3 in 2007 was unprecedented in video game history. The line ups at electronic stores across North America for this first person shooter game when it was released in September was mind boggling. The only thing bigger was the futile attempt of fans trying to score tickets for the Led Zeppelin's reunion concert at London's O2 Arena in December.
The game itself is simply awesome. Whether you are on foot or in racing around in a vehicle the game play is fast and the storyline leaves little to be desired. The weaponry is numerous and the fights are crazy. Played on the Xbox 360, it is one of the reasons Microsoft is outdistancing its competition in the console market. |

The show is a success both with Randy's knowledge of the music industry both in Canada and abroad (with the help of his wife in the research dept.) and his selections of music he chooses to play.
