Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem
AvP2 will be the movie that will kill the franchise. The Strause brothers should be ashamed of themselves for this botched piece of stupidity. How long did it take you to figure out that one of the aliens was a Predator hybrid? The film was too dark and the action sequences so confusing you never could figure out what was actually going on. The Strauses should sit down and watch David Fincher's catalogue to see how to create low lit scenes.

Movie that Bombed, But We Loved Anyway
Shoot 'Em Up
Stupid and cheesy, filled with dialogue that is easily cringe-worthy, and action sequences that are at times moronic, Shoot 'Em Up is no a film that will be on anyone's top 100 list. But even if you have to put up with Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti spouting dialogue best left between the pages of a comic book, and even if you have to stretch your suspension for believe to the breaking point (setting up a maze of guns that are shot off by pulling strings like some puppeteer was a bit much), Shoot 'Em Up was a non stop ride from beginning to end. It was fun, in the adolescent meaning of the word, and sometimes that's all a film lover needs.
